Aluminium Labels
ALUMINIUM LABELS - NAME PLATES - TAGS and SIGNS
Aluminium nameplates are widely used for commercial labelling, including identification plates and signage. The aluminium is coated with a coloured anodised finish, which is selectively removed using a CO₂ laser to produce a crisp white engraving against the coloured surface.
For data and identification plates, we recommend DuraBlack aluminium. This material offers excellent UV stability, along with high resistance to scratching and chemicals. DuraBlack is available in black only, engraves white, and is supplied in 0.1 mm and 0.5 mm thicknesses. Please refer to the DuraBlack Product Sheet below for further details.
SAVE TIME
By using our stocked items
Engraveco can maintain stock of nameplates in your required sizes for ongoing orders; however, standard sizes are not held for this type of nameplate.
Our plates are laser cut by an external specialist, resulting in clean, precise edges that are smooth and free from sharpness or burrs. Nameplates are available in 0.5 mm, 1.0mm or 1.2 mm thicknesses and can be produced in any size up to a maximum of 1010 mm wide by 450 mm high. Options include adhesive backing, mounting holes, and rounded corners, as required.
Standard Anodised Aluminium
Standard anodised aluminium labels are available in two grades: Interior and Exterior. The primary difference is the thickness of the anodised coating. Exterior grade labels are suitable for outdoor use, although the colour may gradually fade over time. Depending on the colour, the expected lifespan ranges from 5 to 10 years.
