DOTcard SYSTEM

The DOTcard System is one of the most efficient solutions available for producing large volumes of high-quality Cable Markers, Core Markers, and Valve Tags. Capable of printing up to 4,800 Cable Markers, 7,200 Core Markers, and 1,800 Valve Tags per hour, it operates seamlessly with Smart 50 & Smart 51 thermal printers and DOTlabel Software.

DOTlabel Software allows you to import data directly from Word and Excel, dramatically reducing production time and costs. Additionally, the thermal printing delivers exceptional quality and durability, as demonstrated by the rigorous tested accreditations listed below.

DOTcard System Printer

The specially modified DOTcard System Smart Printer is one of the most user-friendly and reliable thermal transfer card printers available. It can produce the full range of DOTgroup Cable Markers, Core Indents, Valve Tags, and plain cards, making label production fast and straightforward.

Its compact, optimised design includes a real-time two-line LCD status display, with both input and output hoppers conveniently located at the front. The combined ribbon and cleaning roller cartridge allows for quick and easy ribbon changes, while an enhanced printing speed of 720 monochrome cards per hour ensures maximum efficiency. DOTcard System Core Marker Transparent Sleeves (DOTsleeve21 or DOTsleeve30)

The transparent DOTsleeve features two separate recesses—one for the wire or cable and one for the label—making core identification quick and efficient. The DOTcard2130 system offers two key advantages over conventional identification methods:

  1. Easy label updates: If a core indent needs to be changed after the wire is connected, simply slide out the old label and insert the new one. There’s no need to disconnect, reconnect, or retest the circuit.

  2. Flexible installation: If the information for the DOTcard2130 core indent isn’t available when engineers are ready to connect and test the circuit, the DOTsleeves can be installed first. The wires can be connected and tested immediately, and the printed core indent can be added later as soon as the information is ready.

Both DOTsleeve21 and DOTsleeve30 are available in a variety of core diameters (see list below) and are made from flexible PVC for easy installation.

DOTcard System Valve Tags (DOTvalve3)

The DOTvalve3 Valve Tags are ideal for applications where fast, cost-effective tagging is required. Printed using the DOTcard System thermal transfer printer, they can be produced at speeds of up to 1,800 tags per hour and are available in nine standard colours (see details below).

Made from the same specially formulated Nylon/ABS compound as our DOTcard System Cable Markers, DOTvalve3 Valve Tags offer the same durability and reliability, as confirmed by the test data provided below. Each tag measures 28.5 mm × 54 mm and is supplied in packs of 300 tags per box.

DOTcard Cards (DOTcard86)

The DOTcard86 is a plain 86 mm × 54 mm card, printed using the DOTcard System thermal transfer printer. They are available in almost any colour—please contact us for more information. DOTcard86 Plain Cards are supplied in packs of 100 cards per pack.
